The Baldwin B252 Vertical Piano
If you’re looking for the voice of a concert grand in a smaller body then look no further than Baldwin’s classic B252. The B252 is modeled after Baldwin’s largest vertical piano, and provides as much total soundboard area as Baldwin celebrated R1 grand piano. This piano features a special design that supports longer bass strings, which are more common in taller uprights and produce a rich and very resonant tone normally associated with a grand piano.

Décor that fits anywhere
The B252 is housed in a beautiful, classically-styled wooden enclosure that fits beautifully in any décor – from traditional to contemporary to school to rehearsal hall. The soundboard and rib material are constructed of spruce, while the precision-notched bridge material is made from hard rock maple. The carefully designed geometry of its Full Blow™ Direct Stealth Action delivers an exceptionally responsive touch. The European-style keys are made from genuine European spruce, and all corners of the keys are rounded and polished for an elegant, sophisticated look. The keys are also covered with a special coating that resists stains and chipping.

No "playing noise" as Baldwin manufactures first Stealth^TM Action

Stealth Action sets a new standard for the piano industry and is available in 43 ", 45", and 48" vertical pianos. The first instruments equipped with the Stealth Action will be Baldwin Model 248A Professional pianos.
