Myngoe Brashears

Myngoe is originally from Texas. His musical upringing was strongly influenced by his father who is a musician and a pastor. His musical roots are in gospel, jazz, blues, and R&B.

Myngoe has worked with Houston Grand Opera’s, Mila Gibson and performed under her the spiritual “Motherless Chile” for Rosa Parks. He received his Bachelor of Music from FIU and continued his education with the Metropolitan Opera in NYC with Ed Pierson & Stuart Gardiner. A First Artist in Residence for the Delray Beach Chorale as tenor/countertenor, he is also a member of Antonia Wilson’s Legato Vocal Ensemble which toured Mexico, Spain and the Bahamas. This talented group performed back up for gospel artist CeCe Winans. Myngoe was also a vocalist in the studio with back up projects for Grammy nominee, Joss Stone. Previously he worked as a music and theatre director at: St. Marks Catholic School, Pope John Paul Catholic High School, and Rosarian Academy, but is currently a part of Schola Cantorum at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Delray.

Myngoe is very passionate about the voice and the power it lends. He believes he is given great opportunities and it is his Godly duty to give back and pass on legacies that he is blessed to have received. He is great with all age voice students!
